Benevolence and Development Team

Membership at FBU is required for this team.
If you have a heart for seniors, people in care facilities, and people who are homebound, there are great opportunities for you to minister. Our GROW ministry sends letters and pictures of church activities to people who are homebound. Also, there are opportunities to visit those who are homebound and in care facilities. In addition, you may lead a Bible study or devotion at one of the local care facilities. Membership at FBU is required for this team.
Children and Youth
There are numerous opportunities to help with children and youth on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and for special events. From Awana to Vacation Bible School, there’s a place for you. If you want to help others learn more about our church family and extend a warm welcome to guests, the connections team is a great place for you. If you enjoy serving behind the scenes, we have great opportunities for you to help. If you would like to volunteer in the office or to help with our lawns or facility improvement, there are almost always projects waiting to be completed.
In addition, we often have members and others who need help with various projects.

If you are gifted in playing an instrument or enjoy singing, use those gifts to encourage our church family to glorify God through congregational singing. If you have tech expertise, your gifts are needed to support our worship gathering. If you enjoy children and music, one of our children’s choirs might be just the place for you.
