    Staff Elder

    Ralph joined the ministerial staff in the fall of 2008. His responsibilities include youth, discipleship, and missions. Ralph was born in Reynosa, Mexico and became an American citizen in 1998. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Being bilingual has helped Ralph to not only connect with a diverse culture, but also enjoy the blessing of sharing the gospel to Spanish and English speaking families. 

     

    Ralph committed his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 16. Since his conversion he has been driven by a strong desire to serve God and to serve people. He has a passion to guide today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders to Christ through sound biblical counseling, mentoring and discipling. He loves to engage and work with youth through music, drama, technology, & games, and point them to Christ.

     

    Ralph and his wife Cynthia were married in 1992 and have three wonderful adult children: Danijela, Jozannah & Isaiah.

    Lead Elder

    Greg was born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served as Associate Pastor of worship and youth at Calvary Baptist Irwin for 12 years before moving to Uvalde. He and his wife, Karleen, have 5 children and 2 grandchildren, with whom every day is an amazing adventure.


    While music has always been a part of his life, Greg’s passion for worship comes from an overflow of his passion for God’s Word and the eternal Truth found therein. His desire is to see people become not only disciples, but disciple-makers, who model the “reach and teach” message of the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) in every part of life and ministry.


    Greg's undergraduate degree is from Liberty University and he holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
